This is what interests me.
I photograph people, places and the details that reveal something about them. Sometimes the story is in the person. Sometimes it is in the space they have created. Sometimes it is simply in the traces they leave behind.
I take this same way of looking into my commissioned work and the projects I pursue for myself. The subject may change, but the curiosity stays the same – to look closely, listen and find what makes a place, a person or a story feel real.
After nearly forty years behind a camera, I still believe the best photographs come from taking the time to understand.
Is there a story behind what you do that deserves to be seen?
I am a photographer based in London. My work centres around people – how they live, what they build, and the lives they shape for themselves.
I have always been drawn to real-world journeys. The quiet details. The marks left behind. The small things that reveal something deeper about a person, a place, or a way of life.
I work across portraiture, interiors, and landscape, both rural and urban, but whatever the subject, I am always searching for the same thing: something honest, something real.
For close to forty years photography has been how I move through the world. Observing people, documenting craft, paying attention to the details others often overlook.
