Courvoisier

All these images were taken in and around Jarnac, a small town in the heart of France’s Cognac region. It’s an idyllic place - sun-drenched, slow-paced, and entirely devoted to the craft of creating exceptional cognac.

I had the rare privilege of documenting the full journey of a world-renowned cognac, from grape to glass. I photographed everything - from coopers selecting Limousin oak for the barrels and the chalky soil beneath grand cru vines, to the old, musty cellars along the Charente River and the Maîtres de Chai blending in quiet, private sessions.
